Research shows compelling evidence for the positive correlation between exercise and academic performance and behaviour issues.

Exercise helps kids with executive functions like sequencing, memory, and prioritising which contribute to necessary skills for success in school and life. Put simply, physical activity primes the brain for learning.

Our program can help kids and teens well after the exercise stops, getting the brain active ready for school, or study!

We deliver Fitter Futures group sessions at schools.  Sessions can be run on school grounds before or after school, and as part of vacation care programs.

“In-School” programs are also available, where Fitter Futures delivers the program to multiple groups or classes during the school day.

Health & Wellbeing Workshops (Grades 5-12)

Fitter Futures offers a program that can be co-developed with the school, offered weekly, fortnightly or monthly. The workshops include a physical component to encourage exercise, activity and movement. And a learning component discussing topics that are relevant to the Tween or Teen age groups to help build confidence, a growth mindset, positive body image and to empower kids with knowledge about how to look after their bodies (e.g. through good nutrition and healthy habits).

ATHLETE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS FOR SCHOOLS

Fitter Futures offers an Athlete Development Program for schools, offering aspiring young sportspeople the opportunity to improve as athletes and help them achieve their sporting goals. The Fitter Futures Athlete Development Program is based on the Brand X MethodTM – a world class youth strength & conditioning program based on a long term athletic development model.

Schools that offer our program can have confidence that their students are receiving world class coaching based on a proven model. Delivered in a way that is appropriate for each athlete based on their age, maturity and capability, in an environment which is supportive and fun.

Program Objectives

To improve the overall strength and fitness of athletes to help them improve performance, reduce injury risk, and achieve their sporting goals.
